right across from berlutti
and a door down from belstaff
i realize why londoners are not dog people:
neither of the two species has been fully domesticated
all the way from greenland dock to tower bridge
the river curves in and out of the east/west axis
the sun keeps setting from different angles
a light drizzle makes the run easier
and life much harder
i meet very few people
some geese
and three company executives
having their champagne on the thames walk
exposed to the elements
and french bubbles
the city looks for every opportunity to become a village
i run by a real farm with real animals and the requisite smell
the dixie queen crawls by
and i dream of going faster on land
than she does on water
barely...
